This quantity collects papers provided on the second overseas Workshop on Object-Oriented Database platforms (ooDBS-II) held on the Ebernburg close to undesirable Münster am Stein, FRG, in September 1988. It hence supplies a accomplished assessment of the newest advancements during this flourishing sector of present database learn. Object-oriented database structures were approached with in general significant intentions in brain, specifically to raised help new program components like CAD/CAM, place of work automation, wisdom engineering, and to beat the 'impedance mismatch' among info types and programming languages. The idea of object-orientation in database structures is hence a broader one than e.g. within the quarter of programming languages. Structural object-orientation presents for facts version mechanisms that permit the direct illustration and manipulation of highly-structured entities; behavioral object-orientation cares for amenities to affiliate arbitrary user-defined type-specific operations with facts entities; eventually, complete object-orientation attempts to mix some great benefits of either different types. notwithstanding information version strategies are the decisive characteristic of object-oriented database structures, various different procedure points need to be reconsidered or permit larger suggestions, respectively, during this mild. They comprise e.g. transactions, implementation recommendations, optimization, formalization, the inclusion of ideas, and the mixing with different structures. a few learn prototypes or even a few advertisement structures are in the meantime on hand. either, ways to increase databases with object-oriented features and ways to increase object-oriented programming languages with database positive aspects were and are being investigated.

The relevant technologies have also been investigated in video driven facial animation[2], and mesh coding in MPEG-4, which is mostly a choice of compression parameters and the tracking method is not standardized. Currently, MBC-Face has following progresses. For facial motion tracking, feature-based approaches[3] usually suffer from drifting. To overcome it, some measures should be utilized[4]. Appearance-based approaches are generally more robust than the above, and can be performed deterministically or statistically.

Therefore, text recognition has the widely applied prospect, and it is critical in content-based image retrieval, assistive navigation, scene understanding and geography annotation, etc. Although, the optical character recognition (OCR) has been successful in the application, it is suitable to deal with the scanned document in which the text is not interfered by the background and is easy to be distinguished from the background. Thus, text recognition in the wild is still a challenging problem.

These sentiments can be used to describe the favorability of the images. The problem of comments based favorability measurement is how to convert the natural words based comments into a numerical parameter describing the degree of favorite for an image. There is a huge gap between natural words and the numerical parameters. Fortunately, these comments written by natural words can be processed by sentiment analysis or opinion mining methods. Sentiment analysis or opinion mining refers to the application of natural language processing, computational linguistics, and text analytics to identify and extract subjective information in source materials [35].
