He was not cited again in London advertisements until 29 January 1728, when Page 3 he was Harry Paddington in The Beggar's Opera at Lincoln's Inn Fields. In July and August at the same house he danced, and the following 18 January 1729 Eaton acted a Sicilian and a Gardener in The Rape of Proserpine. He turned up at Blackheath Fair on 30 September 1729 to play Grigg in The Beggar's Wedding and Hob in Flora, after which he joined the Goodman's Fields troupe for the 172930 season. There he danced and essayed such roles as the Wlesh Collier in The Recruiting Officer, Dicky in The Constant Couple, Pierot in The Fashionable Lady, Sir Hugh Evans in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Dorcas Guzzle in The Cobler of Preston.
